Altough it´s a Common/Breeding bird around The Azores, is still one of the rarest birds in Europe.
This one is particular is ringed and i´m trying to get some more information.
Sighted at Lajes harbour.

  1. Azores is the main breeding locatian for roseate terns and has over 50 % of summer population, mainly on Flores, Graciosa and Santa Maria.
Also other Islands have reasonable numbers off breeding pairs, less Sao Miguel where breeding Roseates are very rare.
